| 释义 | When I read paragraph six,I was interested in this sentence “quality of life,on and off the job.”in[In] my opinion ,it indicated today’s workers want[ing] a quality life no matter whether they are on the working or not.in the second sentence ,there was a place interrupt[ing] me ,that [which]is the word “struggle to”,thus ,I looked it up the dictionary ,according to dictionary,I found it was explained so many meaning,however,I paid more attention to the phrase “struggle to do something”,but what does the meaning of this words? it refered “to try extremely hard to achieve something, even though it is very difficult”, as a result[of] this explanation,I understood the whole sentence ,which it means “balance the job and family is an extremely hard thing for today’s workers ,but they still try to achieve it.”in addition ,for my part the word of requirement and need stand for the same meaning in this sentence,they were reasons which [why]lead to men and women struggle to some extent . Compared with the paragraph six,this paragraph was more difficult for me ,especially,in the fourth sentence ,the word “ongoing”was not easy to be understood and comprehended.on [On]the basis of the dictionary,it was[is] an adjective , and means continuing to exist, happen, or develop , obviously,these workers realized a truth which make them outstanding no matter where they are,and the only way is accept continuous job training. what is more ,another word “marketable”made an deep impression for me,because I didn’t understand completely its means[meaning]” marketable goods, skills can be sold easily because people want them”, nevertheless,it don’t matter for me to interpret the meaning of this whole sentence. |
